Ingredients:
- 4 small packages of Orange Jello
- 2 cups of water
- 1 can condensed milk
- 4 cups of fresh orange juice or 2 (6 oz) cans of frozen orange juice concentrate thawed
- 4 (11 0z) cans of mandarin orange pieces drained
- 2 cans of evaporated milk or 3 cups of milk
- 1 tub of Cool whip
Method:
- Boil 2 cups of water.
- Dissolve jello in it.
- Let it cool.
- When cold add rest of the ingredients.
- Mix well until every thing is well incorporated.
- Pour in serving container.
- Chill in the refrigerator to set.
This is very versatile recipe. You can add walnuts or pecans to this if desired, but I make this without nuts. You get Jello in different fruit flavors, you can make this with any fruits using that fruit flavor Jello. This is my son's favorite, so I used to make this very often, although I haven't made this for long time now. Therefore my photograph is pending....
